I join startups early, while the product is still taking shape. I design the first version, set up the design system and stay close to engineering until it ships.
I’ve worked in design and frontend development for more than ten years. I started by building websites for agencies, moved into product design and never stopped writing code.
Lately I’ve worked mostly on DeFi and Web3 products, where people move real money and every screen has to earn their trust. Before that, I spent two years on dashboards and a design system at Videoly.
How I work
- Real content and real data from the first draft.
- A design system from day one, so each new screen is faster than the last.
- Every state designed: empty, loading, error and success.
- Prototypes in code when a static mockup can’t answer the question.
When a project needs code, I build the frontend myself, in React, Next.js or Webflow. This site is built with Next.js and Payload.
Outside work, I cook, learn Portuguese and build small tools for myself.
